The The Black Braid of Memory is Chris’ first work of prose-poetry. This 88-page somnambulous story unveils a series of poems on exile, addiction, inheritance, and their serpentine currents in the life our narrators. There, in the shadow skin of the times, they search for each other in recipes, dreams, dance, drugs, deities, and memory. The Black Braid of Memory is an homage to remembrance and its act undertaken.
